A brain, a heart, and a mouth walk into a bar...
Drew this for my dad's diet blog, skinnyanddebtfree.com. The blog gives you diet tips and encourages you to develop your own diet plan. There are lots of silly posts so I call it "diettainment".

Valentine
Happy Valentine's Day, readers. Hope you are enjoying it.
Draw Tip Tuesday by Koosje Koene had a tutorial for this cute valentine, so I made it. Totally copied the design. It was fun because you paint the word "you" in water and then apply paint to the water and it fills in the word.
Thanks to Koosje Koene!

Billy
This is a watercolor and dip pen drawing of a whimsical little sauce holder (like for picnics, I guess) that my friend Jackie brought me back from Brazil.
Sloan, my boyfriend, named it Billy after the singing fish called "billy the bass" they sell at bass pro shops. Those silly wall mounted fish sing "take me to the river" and some other song. I had never heard of those but that is how my drawing "billy" came to be.
I found this vintage frame in a thrift store. I like how it goes with the yellow in the drawing.
