Right now I'm reading Who Rules the World?  by Noam Chomsky.  Seems like an important read.  I want to watch Gondry's movie about Chomsky, Is the Man Who Is Tall Happy?.

I missed his new film, Microbe & Gasoline, so that's on my list too.  Always enjoy a Michel Gondry movie.

Doodling is really taking my mind off my broken elbow. It hurts alot.  It only just happened Sunday night. When they casted it, it got way worse than it was in a splint. I guess I'll just see how it goes.

I've been listening to Django Reinhardt in the car for the past month or so.  So nice.

Got the pen that Tommy Kane uses, uniball vision fine, & felt empowered to tackle lots of details and not let a little wrongness stop me.   Maybe I'll watercolor it & use colored pencils sometime if I get the guts.

Bill Cunningham

Did you see the documentary on Bill Cunningham, a street fashion photographer for the New York Times? It's fun and it's on Netflix.

I also really enjoy the short videos the New York Times posts weekly by Cunningham on some fashion trend he has noticed.

Marjane Satrapi

Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis is one of my favorite books.  I'm going to make a point to read her newer book, Chicken with Plums, and see the movie.
